"A treat for horror buffs!" - The News
Here's a review of Let Me In in today's issue of The News. =)
(Just to correct a small factual error in the article: Let Me In is not in fact Osman's first script - he wrote the scripts for Some Like It Hot and The Good Doctor [both adaptations], and Superstar Avatar was his own original work.)
The Living Picture® is the brainchild of Osman Khalid Butt - and hence something to worry about. This is a theatre company where utterly stupid ideas and utterly ingenious ideas bravely collide, and the resulting bang-and-clatter is either bewilderingly beautiful or mindbogglingly insane, or both - but never, ever mundane. Welcome to a world of unintentional rhyming, dizzying creativity, and pure, obsessive love for the performance arts.
Ironically enough, this cacophonous little monster of a theatre company makes its home in the inimitably charming hillside city of Islamabad, Pakistan.
